Each requires a power outlet. In the past this has limited placement options, calling up an electrician (adding hundreds of dollars to an installation), or using an unsightly extension cord…not any more. Install a dual electrical power outlet wherever needed with the Rapid Link Power kit. Not only does it open up possible placement options, it's as easy to install as a low voltage device. The Rapid Link Power kit works by transferring power from an existing outlet to where you need it. ROMEX® electrical wire (ROMEX not included) is used to connect the AC outlet receptacle (which is mounted to the desired power location) to the AC inlet receptacle (which is mounted within 36" of an existing outlet). A 36" electrical cord is included to provide power to the AC inlet receptacle. Both the AC inlet and AC outlet feature unique recessed connections to maximize mounting clearance. The included PVC electrical boxes feature dog-ear mounting tabs for retro-fit applications. National Electric Code requirements are met with the Power Bridge so that you can be sure that it's safe. Rated at 125 VAC, 15A. Kit includes one recessed dual AC power outlet, one AC power inlet, 36" electrical extension cord, and two PVC electrical boxes. We will return at the customer's expense or destroy/discard after 60 days *AUDITIONING YOUR SPEAKERS Each speaker order includes the following instructions: To "audition" a speaker without scratching or marking it will require getting into the speaker cabinet and listening to it play without actually mounting it with screws. This can be done by tilting the cabinet back and setting the speaker in place. If the cabinet has bare wire leads, just wrap them around the solder lug connector on the back of the speaker to make the electrical connections. A friend can help hold the speaker in place while you listen to the new speaker.
